We are proud to announce that the acquisition of Agwood completed on Monday the 8th of August.
The purchase of Agwoods has led us to restructure our overall operation allowing us to create a parent company ‘Crawfords Group Holding’. The new holding company will hold both R W Crawford Agricultural Machinery Ltd and Agwood as equal companies for our Fendt and Valtra business and the Massey Ferguson business respectively.
The Crawfords family will embrace the success Ian Wood and the Agwood team have achieved and complement them with our Group functions and benefits from economies of scale.
In the meantime, our group teams are already building relationships of trust with the Agwood team, supporting and planning for our exciting future.
Ian will continue throughout the transition based at Swingfield and will be important with future key developments. Phil Bush will lead the Agwood business supported by our Senior Group Management Team.
We promise to maintain Agwoods quality customer service and passion to which you are accustomed.
For now, it’s business as usual as we approach the end of harvest, awaiting the arrival of some much-needed rain.
