Writtle village in Essex was sprinkled with festive magic on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, as the Essex Christmas Tractor Run jingled its way back for an encore. The Lyon family and our merry crew at Crawfords Group hosted this year’s extravaganza, which was a spectacular sight because it included a convoy of over 95 tractors decked out in colourful decorations and twinkling lights.
And guess what? They weren’t just parading for show—they were on a mission to sprinkle goodwill for Cancer Research and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance!
Tractors in Tinsel: A Twinkling Triumph!
The tractor drivers didn’t hold back on the holiday spirit; they turned their tractors into moving Christmas wonderlands! With Christmas lights and seasonal decorations, the convoy became a dazzling spectacle, enchanting everyone in its path. Not only did it bring joy to the season, but it also raised much-needed funds for two incredible causes.

Drumroll, please! The grand total raised at the Essex Festive Tractor Run 2023 was a whopping £11,080.94! Hats off to the participants, sponsors, and the fantastic communities that rallied behind this heartwarming initiative.
